Bonjour Reader, JI hope that your month of October has been as packed with knitting, sharing, discoveries and emotions as mine has been! After the Knit.Eat yarn show, where I had the pleasure of meeting some of you in particular at the book signings for my book Chaussettes Douilletteson the stands of some of the book's partners, I published the pattern for the Tétras jumper(I've extended the launch promotion until Sunday evening, and I've included all the details at the end of this email). The sweater is available in a total of 20 sizes(8 children's sizes,12 teen/adult sizes). Choosing your size isn't always easy, so I've tried to give you as much guidance as possible in choosing your size by detailing all the critical measurements in a file that you can access before buying the pattern. I've started a new version of the jumper using a different yarn from the one used in the pattern: the pattern was written using Naturafil Merinos Extra (a kit is available from M'Toinette, full details here) and I'm currently using Fonty Guéret. Following a request from some of you on Discord, I'm writing a blog post to explain how I chose my size and options for this second version. If you have any questions in particular that you'd like me to answer in the article, reply to this email and I'll happily include them 😊 I separated the sleeves from the body on Sunday. In general, I finish my ball or skein and then alternate by doing one sleeve, then a bit of body (often between 1 and 2 balls), the second sleeve, and finally the rest of the body. This gives me the motivation to do the sleeves without getting bored before doing the second one. As I've chosen to do the textured pattern on the sides for this second version, I'll probably change my method and finish both sleeves at once. 📅 in November
I can't wait to see all the versions of the jumper (and all the other patterns too!) that you're going to knit!
PS: The reduction on the Tétras kit at M'Toinette will give you the best price because with 10% off, you'll get a free ball (or even a bit more on certain sizes). ✨ studio live update ✨ |

While I’m still planning them, I wanted to sincerely thank you for following and supporting my knitting adventures, whether it’s by reading my creative diary, following my...
