Hello Reader, The Tétras sweater pattern is now available on Ravelry and in my shop, in both adult and baby/children's versions! Each pattern is independent, but you can also combine the two patterns at a very attractive price. Available in 20 sizes in total and with four pattern placement options to choose from, it's a very versatile pattern! It’s a good basic with a twist to add to your winter wardrobe, and its compound raglan will help you make it a staple of your handmade sweaters without compromising on fit. This sweater was born out of a craving for dip stitches. I first used them for one of the patterns in my new sock book "Chaussettes Douillettes" and wanted to play with them a bit more. Well, a lot more! With its mix and match options, you can place the pattern in different spots on the sweater to make it your own. This sweater is worked in the round with DK yarn, starting from the neck down. It starts with optional short row neck shaping and compound raglan shaping featuring a textured motif. Options to add the textured motif to the front of the neck, the end of the sleeves and the body are also provided allowing you to knit them ... or not! Adult pattern includes sizes with a finished but measurement of 82.5 (90; 97.5; 105; 112.5) [120; 127.5; 135; 142.5] (150; 157.5; 165) cm / 32⅜ (35⅜; 38½; 41½; 44⅛) [46¾; 49⅞; 53⅜; 56] (58⅝; 61⅛; 65⅛)”, with 2-5 cm / ¾-2” of positive ease. Baby/Chlid pattern includes sizes with a finished but measurement of 43.5 (48; 54.5; 59) 65.5; 68; 72; 76.5 cm / 17 (18¾; 21⅜; 23⅛) [25¾; 26⅝; 28⅜; 30⅛]”, with 2-5 cm / ¾-2” of positive ease. Bonjour Reader, A l'heure où j'écris ces lignes (lundi matin), je n'ai pas encore fini ma deuxième Fléchettes mais cela ne saurait tarder car il ne me reste qu'un motif à faire sur le pied ainsi que les orteils. Je trouve toujours cela impressionnant à quel point les deux chaussettes d'une même paire peuvent aller à des vitesses différentes. J'avoue que j'ai hâte de commencer la prochaine paire, des Echec et mat, mais il faudra attendre vendredi pour cela et le lancement du KAL sur Discord....
Bonjour Reader, Cela ne m'arrive pas souvent mais... j'ai tout défait. Parfois il faut se rendre à l'évidence et, comme c'était le cas ici, cela ne colle pas. Dans ces cas là, je n'hésite jamais à défaire car au final ce sera un tricot que je n'apprécie pas tricoter ET que je ne porterai pas. Vu le temps qu'on y passe, autant que ce soit pour des pièces que l'on porte longtemps !
